Who we are

Unobviousness operates this website and manages the requests submitted through it. For privacy questions or a request concerning your information, use our contact form.

What you choose to share

A connection request asks for your first name, city and country, interests, preferred type of connection, meeting format, and chosen contact detail. An enquiry asks for your first name, topic, message, and contact detail. We also record your confirmation that you are at least 18 and your agreement to contact about your request.

Please do not include medical records, financial information, identification documents, or private details about other people.

How we use your information

We use your details to manage your request, consider relevant connection opportunities, respond to questions, and discuss an optional next step. Your contact consent relates to your request; it does not subscribe you to an unrelated newsletter or authorise unrelated promotional messages.

Your request is not a public profile. We do not automatically publish your details, add you to a group, or send your details to other participants. We would explain a proposed introduction and any information sharing before you decide to participate. We do not sell submitted contact details.

Storage and access

Requests are saved in a private text file on the hosting server, outside the public website directory. Access is limited to the operator and authorised administrators who need it to manage the website and requests. Hosting and security providers may process technical information as part of delivering the service.

We keep requests for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, manage an active enquiry, and meet relevant operational obligations. You can ask us to delete your request when it is no longer needed.

Cookies and campaign information

The site uses a first-party session cookie for form security, remembering choices during your visit, and avoiding duplicate submissions. A temporary hashed network address is used to limit abusive submissions; your raw network address is not included in the lead record. The hosting provider may keep standard access and security logs.

If you arrive through a campaign link, its labels and click identifier may be included with your request to understand where enquiries originate. We retain the entry page and referring website’s hostname rather than its full URL. This site currently loads no Meta pixel or third-party analytics scripts. Photographs and fonts are served locally.

Interactive exercises

The discovery quiz, journaling exercise, and challenge picker work within the page. Their answers are not automatically submitted, saved as leads, or shared with an advertising platform. Starting a connection request is a separate action.

Your choices

Use the privacy enquiry form to ask about access, a correction, deletion, or stopping contact. Include the contact detail used in the original request so we can locate it and verify ownership. You can stop an exercise or leave a form without submitting it.

Adults only

Connection requests and service enquiries are intended for people aged 18 and older. If information about a child has been submitted, please contact us so it can be addressed.
